Poached Chicken (Pak Cham Kai)

Malam tadi Ummi masak menu simple tapi sedap. Poached Chicken with Nasi Planta 😋😋😋

Resepi Poached Chicken atau Pak Cham Kai ni Ummi dapat dari paper The Star or for Sunday edition it is called Sunday Star. The recipe is from Chef Ellen Wong. There was about half page story about her but what caught my eyes is her Poached Chicken recipe. It looks so simple that I didn't take long to try this recipe. I got this recipe on Sunday and try it out last night for dinner.

Janganlah suruh Ummi salin balik resepi ni. Ummi malas haha... Perhaps you could enlarge the image for better view.

Ummi ringkas kan ye... Mula-mula stuff the chicken with sliced garlic & spring onions. Careful ye. Biarkan hingga ayam masak. Tutup api and leave the chicken in the pot for 30 minutes and flip the chicken after 25 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare the sauces; chili sauce & ginger sauce.

Chili sauce - blend chilis, garlic + ginger.

Ginger sauce - blend ginger + garlic + small onion. Tambahkan kicap cair, minyak bijan, air rebusan ayam dan sliced spring onions. Patutnya letak garlic oil tapi takde.

Memang sedap gandingan kedua-duanya. Ala-ala nasi ayam hainan la pulak 😅

Selamat mencuba!
